I started blogging exactly 3830 days ago. Over ten yeas ago. I used a blogging platform developed by an Austrian blog hosting company. About one year later I moved from “twoday” to a self-hosted WordPress blog called ARMIXblog.com. That was on the 22nd of August 2007. Since than I prefered to host my blog on my own web server — or at least on an own virtual host.

A few month ago I moved my web projects from 5hosting to my Amazon Web Services (AWS) VPC. I run a dedicated EC2 (nano-)instance for my WordPress-based blog armix.one. Does this make sense? Hmm, not really.

Thats why I decided to move my “blog” with all relevant “posts” to a new platform — Medium! So, my “blog” is now a “publication” and the “posts” are now called “articles”.
All relevant articles means that I decided to focus on IT topics. (Cloud solutions, hardware & gadgets, software & software development, etc…) I removed all non-IT posts from the import to Medium. All future articles should be high-quality articles, not only uninteresting “blah blah”. And, as you probably already noticed, I started writing in English.

I hope you enjoy reading this publication — let me know what you think about this changes. :-)
